Big pleated rounds of black and white, folded so the petals spring out from the center in a starburst. Inky black alternates with soft white the whole way around, and every petal ends in a point, more sunburst than snowflake.
A string at the top sends them up a wall, along a porch rail, or over the table with the caramel apples and the cider. Come dusk they turn a little in the draft from the door while the candy bowl slowly empties.

Why we love it
Graphic Halloween: the spooky here comes from bold stripes and sharp points, which means it reads a little vintage and a lot elegant. Once the pumpkins are packed away, that same black and white looks right over a birthday table in March.
