A lavender backpack with a whole herd of unicorns on it, pink manes, blue manes, purple manes, drifting past little gold stars and puffy white clouds. There are two big zippered compartments inside, a hot pink mesh water bottle pocket on the side, a D-ring for clipping on whatever needs clipping, and a name tag tucked in where names go.
The shoulder straps and back are padded and adjust as your kid grows into the year, and a sturdy loop up top means it hangs on a hook without a fuss. Picture it on the second shelf by the picture books, one strap sliding off, while your kid decides which story is coming home tonight.
