Pale blue, speckled all over, and stacked in tiers that stick out just the way a tutu should. The mesh is scattered with tiny raised dots in a deeper blue, with pinpricks of silver sparkle in between, so the whole skirt looks a bit like the first snow caught mid-fall. A shimmery silver waistband finishes the top edge.
Each tier ruffles out over the next, which gives the skirt its fullness and a strong opinion about standing still. Try it with white tights and a plain tee, or hand it over to the dress-up bin and see who your kid turns into. A snow queen, perhaps. Possibly a very elegant cloud.

Why we love it
The dots give it texture you notice up close as well as from across the room, and the quiet blue gets along with most of what’s already in the drawer.
Sky-blue princess
A pale blue dot mesh tutu and its matching ruffle-shouldered tee, a sheer night-sky cape tied with a gold ribbon, and a tall velvet cone hat trailing a star-scattered veil. The tee and tutu come in the same sizes, 2T to 6T, but each needs its own pick. The gloves in the photos are styling. Hat on, cape out, and the balcony becomes a tower.
