The long ghost is the one to watch. It stretches from the roof of the haunted house nearly down to the front door, and landing at the top of it means a slow, swooping ride back toward the start.
The rest of the board is kinder. Orange ladders lean against the tower and the windows, ready to carry a lucky pumpkin upward, while smaller ghosts drift about with dot eyes and nothing but mild mischief in mind. Each player picks a smiling jack-o’-lantern, gives the scalloped spinner a flick, and sets off past the tombstones toward the big orange moon in the far corner, where the finish square is waiting.
