A hedgehog in a bow tie presides over the marquee, right above the words SHOW TIME, and the house lights are practically up. Red curtains with a velvety look hang from a cord across the opening, gathered back with matching ties so they can sweep open for a grand entrance or close for intermission. Below the red stage floor, stripes of red and natural wood carry a row of stars.
The cast is a bear, a fox, a raccoon, a monkey, a deer and a hedgehog, each with two finger holes so your kid’s fingers become the legs. Set the theater on a table and the show belongs to whoever is crouched behind it. When the run ends, it folds flat and waits for its next booking.

Why we love it
It gives a family’s storytelling a real stage, and anyone on the couch gets promoted to audience.
