Parked by the plates and ready for takeoff. Each of these napkins is cut to the outline of a witch’s broom, slim at the handle and wide at the bristles, so the shape shows up before anyone notices the print. The handle runs silver against creamy white, the bristles are black with fine pale lines sweeping through them, and a bright orange tie cinches the whole thing together. Two black stars hover off to one side, as though the broom has only just landed.
Tuck one beside each place setting or fan a few out near the treats. Whoever flew in on them is presumably around here somewhere, and will be wanting a snack.
