Ta-Da

The whole circus fits on the coffee table, and every performer is ready to hold someone up. Two acrobats in blue tops with gold stars stretch their arms out flat, making a ledge for the strongman in his red-and-white stripes, who raises his arms overhead for whatever comes next. Maybe a striped podium. Maybe an elephant in a red blanket.

The rest of the troupe waits in the wings: ballerinas in yellow tutus, a lion with a sunburst mane, a smaller elephant and a ringmaster in a red coat and top hat. Each painted shape hints at where it might go, and your kid works out who stands on whom. Some towers climb tall, and some take their bow a little early. Either way, the ringmaster has his eye on the top spot.
