Jack’s Auto Repair keeps its hours wherever the handle goes. Closed up, this suitcase looks like a little red-roofed garage with a dog keeping watch by the door. Unhook the latches and the front folds down into a paved driveway, opening onto two floors of checkerboard tile: a service bay below and a waiting room with a snack machine and stools pictured on the walls above.
The crew is ready for business. Mechanics in their uniforms, customers dropping off their cars, a blue pickup riding high on the lift, a retro gas pump, an oil drum and a red toolbox piece. Your kid decides what needs fixing, who waits upstairs and which car gets the next set of tires. Then the latches close, the handle comes up, and the whole shop heads off to its next location.

Why we love it
The outside is a garage too, so even shut and carried by the handle it still looks like part of the game.
