Two wide yellow eyes, a triangle nose and a grille of a grin: this robot has a face that looks permanently pleased to be switched on. It’s all bright blue, with red rings around the eyes and a row of rivet-style circles running over the top.
The eyes are printed on the tinted visor, and the visor moves. Lift it and the robot’s gaze tips up toward the ceiling while your kid’s own face appears underneath, which is a fine way to announce who has been operating the machinery all along.
Turn the helmet around for the back panel, where the artwork opens a little hatch on the works: a wrench and a red-handled screwdriver, ready for repairs between missions.
