Somebody lives under this mushroom, and she has dressed for company. She’s a grey mouse in a white lace dress, with a rust bow tied between her pale ears, rust printed legs showing under the hem and a long tail trailing behind.
Her bed is a cream leaf, stitched with orange veins and gathered deep like a pocket, so she tucks in up to her elbows with a small pillow at her back. Next to her stands a rust mushroom with embroidered white dots, a softly pleated stem and a pale yellow ribbon tied at its waist.
The leaf and the mushroom each carry a loop at the top, so the whole scene can hang from a branch between adventures. Going by those stitched lashes, she’s already halfway to a nap.

Why we love it
It hands your kid the first page of a story and leaves the rest open. Who she is, where she’s going and who else is invited under the toadstool are all still to be decided.
