A skull, a pumpkin and a raven, each drawn like an engraving out of an old natural history book and captioned underneath in small capitals: SKELETON, PUMPKIN, RAVEN. Soft black printing on cream, with two thin stripes running around every fluted rim.
They hold a heap of caramel corn as happily as a slice of cake, though your kid will probably sort them into piles by favorite first. The raven usually wins, and it ends up at the good seat.

Why we love it
The old engraving look, right down to the little specimen labels under each one. Spooky in a bookish way rather than a neon-orange way, so the table still looks lovely once the candy is gone.
